HCAR Endless Summer Event!
This Summer, my Executive Assistant, Courtney, and I had so much fun at the Howard County Association of Realtors (HCAR) Endless Summer Event. Periodically throughout the year, HCAR hosts events where realtors can come together and meet vendors located in Maryland. This year they hosted the event at the Howard County Fairgrounds in August.
When we arrived at the event, we signed in and received a Bingo card. The Bingo card contained the logos of the vendors in attendance. When we spoke with each vendor, they signed their initials next to their logo. I thought this was a clever idea because it gave everyone an incentive to speak with each vendor so they could complete their card.
The vendors at the event included Title Companies, Mortgage Companies, Staging Companies, Moving Companies, Junk Luggers, and many more. Each vendor had their own special giveaways. Some of the fun freebies Courtney and I received were branded cups, frisbees, apple slicers, candy, notepads, and more. We walked out of there with our bags full!
At the end of the event, we received a ticket for a free cupcake and meal catered by Jimmy's Famous Seafood. The food was absolutely delicious! I chose the Old Bay fries, while Courtney chose the Crabcake Egg Rolls, we were both happy with our choices.
We placed our Bingo cards in the raffle bin. The grand prize was a Flat-Screen-TV. Unfortunately, we did not have much luck, but we were happy for the big winner! We had so much fun meeting vendors and other realtors in Howard County. HCAR put together a wonderful summer event, I hope to attend their events next year!
